Students undertake the post-graduate year at St. Stephen's for a variety of reasons; some have cultural enrichment projects in mind, others wish also to participate in demanding academics programs. Open to all of them is the warmth of Italian life and culture and the fascination of living in Rome.

Typically, the post-graduate student specializes in one or more of the following areas:

• Advanced academic courses (St. Stephen's offers a full range of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses and exams);
• Italian language, literature and culture;
• Classical studies;
• Art History;
• Advanced Art.

A faculty advisor works individually with each post-graduate student to ensure a sound and profitable program of travel and study.
